Armenia has begun exporting foil to Azerbaijan

Armenia has begun exporting aluminum foil to Azerbaijan.

Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan stated this to journalists at a briefing after a government session, Sputnik Armenia reports.

The minister found it difficult to name the exact volumes of the shipments, but promised to report on this later.
Asked whether shipments of other goods from Armenia to Azerbaijan are expected, Papoyan replied: "We'll see."

Earlier, Armenia's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Ararat Mirzoyan said in an interview with Public Television that in the coming days information would emerge about purchases of goods by Azerbaijani companies from Armenian producers. The minister did not provide details at the time.

Since the end of 2025, deliveries of petroleum products from Azerbaijan to Armenia have begun.

In addition, Russian grain and other goods have begun arriving in Armenia in transit through Azerbaijan.
