Zakharova accused Nikol Pashinyan of distancing from the EAEU
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova reproached Nikol Pashinyan for systematically ignoring EAEU events.
“This is already turning into a system that, as we understood it, Nikol Pashinyan created in this direction,” Zakharova stated, commenting on the Armenian prime minister’s refusal to participate in a meeting of EAEU leaders.
At the same time, the representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry emphasized that for the association itself “there is no tragedy,” but added that “the question is only in Armenia itself.”
Recall that earlier Pashinyan stated that he would not be able to take part in the summit due to his participation in the election campaign in Armenia.
Armenia will be represented at the summit by Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan.
