Supreme leader of Iran bans export of enriched uranium from the country
Supreme leader of Iran Mojtaba Khamenei banned the export of enriched uranium outside Iran.
Reuters reports this, citing sources.
The agency notes that this decision by the supreme leader of the Islamic Republic could "further upset" Donald Trump and complicate the negotiation process.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that Moscow is ready to play a role in resolving the issue of Iranian enriched uranium in a way that would be maximally acceptable to Iran.
Russian President Vladimir Putin stated on May 9 in a conversation with journalists that Moscow's proposal to export Iranian enriched uranium remains in force.
