Rains with thunderstorms passed in regions of Azerbaijan - factual weather
The National Hydrometeorological Service under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan has released information on the actual weather across the republic as of 12:00.
As the department reports, rains with thunderstorms passed in a number of regions of the country, in some places the precipitation was intense.
According to the information, 47 mm of precipitation fell in Gakh, 16 in Khaltan (Guba), 12 in Gadabay, 9 in Nakhchivan, 8 in Dashkesan, 5 in Gusar, 4 in Shahbuz, Kishchay (Sheki), 3 in Altiagaj, 2 in Ganja, Tovuz, Naftalan, up to 1 mm in Goranboy, Agstafa, Shamkir, Zagatala, Balakan, Khachmaz, Shabran, Ordubad, Shahdag.
In addition, small hail fell at different times in the Agstafa, Shamkir and Gadabay districts.
In Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula, the maximum air temperature was recorded at 26 degrees above zero, in the Nakhchivan AR - up to 29, in the lowland areas - up to 28, and in the mountainous areas - up to 17 degrees above zero.
