Rains, thunderstorms and up to 24 degrees of heat expected in Baku
The weather forecast for May 25 has been released. As 1news.az reports citing the National Hydrometeorological Service, periodic rains are expected in some places in Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula.
In some areas of the peninsula, precipitation may temporarily intensify, and thunderstorms are also possible. The southeast wind will change to a moderate northwest wind in the morning.
The air temperature will be +16…+19 °C at night and +20…+24 °C during the day. Atmospheric pressure will be at 758 mm Hg, relative air humidity — 70–80%.
Periodic precipitation is also forecast in the regions of the country. In some areas, short-term heavy rains, thunderstorms, hail are possible, and snow in high-mountainous areas. Fog is expected in some places at night and in the morning, the moderate westerly wind will sometimes intensify.
The air temperature will be +14…+17 °C at night and +23…+28 °C during the day, in the mountains +5…+10 °C at night and +13…+18 °C during the day, in some places up to +20…+23 °C.
