Joint communiqué of competition agencies of OTS countries adopted in Shusha
Following the third meeting of heads of competition agencies of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) countries in Shusha, a joint communiqué was signed covering promising areas of cooperation between the agencies.
As Report informs, this was stated to journalists by Elnur Bagirov, chairman of the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the President of Azerbaijan.
According to him, the document reflects strategic priorities in the field of competition and specific steps for further cooperation.
"In addition, an agreement was reached to conduct a joint sectoral study and establish three working groups on competition issues. The Azerbaijani side will continue to provide comprehensive support to strengthening strategic partnership between the competition agencies of OTS countries," emphasized E. Bagirov.
