Lightning strike causes fire in store in Agdam - PHOTO

In the village of Garadaghly in Agdam district, a fire that broke out after a lightning strike hit a store was extinguished, and the spread of the flames to a nearby residential house was also prevented.

As 1news.az reports citing AZERTAC, the incident occurred on the morning of June 14.

According to available information, lightning struck a store belonging to village resident Fikret Soltan oglu Ibadov, after which a fire started.

Equipment and personnel from the State Fire Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene. Rescuers managed to quickly localize and extinguish the blaze, preventing it from spreading to the neighboring house.
