Azerbaijan foreign ministry expresses condolences to Saudi Arabia over helicopter crash
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan expressed official condolences to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in connection with the tragic helicopter crash in the city of Ras Tannura, located in the east of the country.
A corresponding publication was posted on the official page of the Azerbaijani foreign ministry on the social network X.
The text of the appeal from the diplomatic department notes that the Azerbaijani side is deeply saddened by the news of the disaster that claimed the lives of fourteen people. The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry expressed sincere condolences to the family members and loved ones of the deceased, as well as to the government and the entire people of Saudi Arabia. According to available data, the helicopter belonged to the Saudi state oil company Saudi Aramco. As a result of its fall at the scene, at least 14 people died.
