Russia will continue contacts with Turkey on the fate of S-400
Moscow contacted Ankara on the question of the further fate of the S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems previously supplied to it and will continue contacts on this topic, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.
Earlier, the newspaper Hürriyet, citing its own sources, reported that Turkey could sell the Russian S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems to one of the Persian Gulf countries.
"Here I can say one thing, that this topic belongs to the area of super-sensitive. We had contacts with the Turkish side on this topic, and we will continue contacts with the Turkish side on this issue," Peskov told reporters, answering the question of whether Turkey approached Russia for permission to sell Russian S-400 air defense systems.
