Iran will not negotiate with the US until they change their approaches
Tehran does not plan to contact the American side until it changes its approaches, Fars reports.
"Iran has not requested negotiations with the US; there will be no talks until the US retreats from its positions," the publication states, citing sources.
The agency does not specify exactly what the Islamic Republic expects from Washington.
In mid-June, Tehran and Washington signed a memorandum that involves ending the military conflict. Nevertheless, on the night of July 8, the United States resumed shelling. According to President Donald Trump, this was a reaction to Iran's actions against commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz. He threatened to increase the intensity of the attacks if such a situation recurs.
The Islamic Republic, in response, is striking US military infrastructure in the Middle East. The country's Foreign Ministry called Washington's aggression a serious violation of the reached agreements.
