Iranian ambassador: negotiations with the US may take place in Islamabad
Iran is considering Islamabad as a venue for negotiations with the US, but for Tehran, the result matters more than the location.
This was stated by the Iranian Ambassador to Italy, Mohammad Reza Sabouri, in an interview with TASS.
"We are closely monitoring Pakistan's efforts, and given the initiatives and actions of the authorities of this country, Islamabad is being considered as a venue for negotiations. The location of the talks is a secondary issue: the focus should be on the path to achieving a fair and balanced agreement," the diplomat said.
