Armenia exported weapons of its own production for the first time in history
Armenia exported weapons of its own design and production for the first time in history, High-Tech Industry Minister Mkhitar Ayrapetyan said on social media.
The products were exported to two different countries this month at a cost of several million dollars. Ayrapetyan did not disclose the nomenclature of the armaments or the states that received them.
The official added that the deal was carried out "by overcoming many problems and obstacles of a logistical nature," for which he thanked colleagues from the Defense Ministry, the National Security Service, the Foreign Ministry and the State Revenue Committee.
