In Yakutia, An-2 made emergency landing in forest
The An-2 aircraft with 8 passengers aboard made an emergency landing in the forest in Yakutia, the republic's EMERCOM main department reports.
"Information was received by the main EMERCOM department of Russia for the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) that an An-2 aircraft made an emergency landing in a forest area. There were 8 people on board," the message says.
Specialists from the search and rescue base and medics went to the site of the An-2 aircraft's emergency landing.
The aircraft's passengers independently walked out of the forest, the republic's EMERCOM main department reports.
"After the emergency landing, a message was received about the coordinates of the aircraft and the passengers exiting the forest area on foot, toward Teply Klyuch," the message says.
