Iran restores drone production much faster than the US expected, media say
Iran is restoring its armed forces and weapons production much faster than the US expected, CNN reports, citing sources familiar with US intelligence data.
It is noted that during the six-week ceasefire that began in April, Iran resumed operations at some drone production facilities.
"According to estimates by some US intelligence agencies, Iran could fully restore its capability to strike with drones in just six months," CNN states.
Earlier, Iranian parliament speaker Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf stated that Iran's armed forces made the best use of the ceasefire with the US to restore their capabilities.
