Pashinyan speaks in favor of normalizing relations between the EU and Georgia

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that Yerevan is concerned about the situation that has developed in relations between Georgia and the European Union and expressed the conviction that it should be resolved.

"Georgia has a key and substantial role in Armenia-EU relations. We are concerned about this situation. We believe that this situation should be resolved," the Armenian prime minister said to journalists in response to a request to comment on the words of Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze that the EU will not succeed in driving a wedge into relations between Tbilisi and Yerevan.

Pashinyan added that Armenia and Georgia have friendly, strategic relations and "there can be no other scenario here," he pointed out.
