President Ilham Aliyev congratulates Charles III
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to King Charles III of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
The text of the letter reads:
"From my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I am pleased to cordially congratulate you and, in your person, your entire people on the national holiday of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland – Your Birthday – and to convey my best wishes.
Currently, our interstate relations, based on friendship, mutual respect and trust, effective cooperation in the political, trade-economic, investment, energy spheres, including in the field of renewable energy, and other areas, continue to develop dynamically and sustainably. Using the great potential of our interaction, we can further enrich the bilateral agenda between Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom.
I am confident that we will continue to successfully pursue joint efforts aimed at further strengthening the traditionally friendly relations and mutually beneficial cooperation between our countries, for the benefit of the two peoples.
