Rains and thunderstorms expected in Baku
On June 15, variable cloudiness is expected in Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula, sometimes overcast, mostly without precipitation.
As 1news.az reports citing the National Hydrometeorological Service, short-term rains will occur in some places in the first half of the day.
Thunderstorms are possible in some areas of the peninsula, and precipitation may intensify locally in the morning. A moderate northwesterly wind will blow.
The air temperature will be +18…+21 °C at night and +26…+29 °C during the day. Atmospheric pressure will rise from 755 to 760 mm Hg. Relative humidity will be 65–75%.
Periodic rains are also expected in the regions of Azerbaijan. Precipitation will be intense in some places, with thunderstorms and hail possible. Heavy rains are forecast in some mountainous and foothill areas. Fog is expected locally at night and in the morning, and a moderate westerly wind will blow.
The air temperature in the regions will be +18…+21 °C at night and +28…+32 °C during the day; in the mountains, +9…+14 °C at night and +18…+23 °C during the day, locally up to +25…+28 °C.
