Elon Musk loses status as trillionaire
The fortune of SpaceX founder Elon Musk has fallen below $1 trillion, to $957 billion.
This follows from the Bloomberg Billionaires Index published by the Bloomberg agency, which is calculated, in particular, based on the value of company shares.
In the course of recent changes, the businessman's fortune decreased by $118 billion.
On June 12, Musk became the first person in the world whose fortune exceeded $1 trillion after the start of trading in shares of the SpaceX company he founded. Thus, he held the status of a trillionaire for almost two weeks.
As reported on June 22, SpaceX shares fell for three days in a row after the announcement of the first placement of investment-grade bonds to finance projects in the field of artificial intelligence. In addition, Tesla shares on the Nasdaq exchange have lost 4.14% in price since June 16, and SpaceX - 17.13%, according to trading data.
