Azerbaijan’s foreign ministry reports discovery of body of ship captain killed in attack off Odessa coast

The body of the captain of the civilian merchant ship Atlas Bey, Samed Nasrullayev, who was killed in a drone attack off the coast of Odessa in Ukraine, has been found and delivered to Odessa.

As reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, after the completion of the necessary procedures, the body of the deceased will be sent to Azerbaijan.

The Foreign Ministry expressed deep condolences to the family and relatives of the ship’s captain.

“May the earth be light,” the ministry’s statement says.
