Jeyhun Bayramov: Azerbaijan and Russia form positive trend in economy
Azerbaijan and Russia, despite all the difficulties existing in the world economy, have formed a positive trend in the economy.
As Report reports, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov stated this at a meeting with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov in an expanded format on Friday in Moscow.
"I am confident that today we will be able to go through in detail the trade and economic block, an important element of which is also the regular contacts of the Intergovernmental Commission, the 24th meeting of which took place in April of this year. In this context, we believe that despite all the difficulties that exist in the world economy, overall the trend between our countries is positive. And today, we will probably dwell in more detail on the figures and indicators for 2025, as well as on the directions that are planned for the near future," Bayramov said.
According to him, the humanitarian sphere is traditionally an important element of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation.
"Naturally, we will be ready to discuss the entire range of issues on the regional and international agenda that are of mutual interest, including our contacts and cooperation on international platforms," the head of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry added.
