Member of Dashnaktsutyun detained in Armenia
Member of the ARF Dashnaktsutyun, public figure Ara Nakhshkaryan, has been detained.
This is reported by Sputnik Armenia.
Nakhshkaryan is currently at the Anti-Corruption Committee.
He was detained as part of a criminal case on giving and receiving pre-election bribes.
Earlier, the Anti-Corruption Committee claimed that it had uncovered a new scheme to bribe voters, which involved one of the candidates for deputy from the opposition bloc Armenia.
The committee published audio recordings in which one of the interlocutors is addressed by the surname Nakhshkaryan.
It should be noted that Ara Nakhshkaryan is the head of the Gyumri office of the Armenian Educational and Cultural Union; he was a candidate for deputy from the Armenia bloc.
