Mirzoyan discussed accelerating the implementation of the TRIPP project with a U.S. representative
Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan received Aryeh Lightstone, senior advisor to the U.S. Special Envoy for Peace Missions.
As "Armenpress" reports, this was announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.
Konstantin Sokolov, chairman of the Trans-Caspian Enterprise Fund, also attended the meeting. Both sides emphasized the significant achievements and progress made after the Washington peace summit of August 8, 2025.
Emphasizing the importance of the peace established between Armenia and Azerbaijan for unlocking the region's development potential to the maximum, the interlocutors also discussed possible steps aimed at further strengthening peace.
The interlocutors noted with satisfaction the active dynamics of the recent mutual high-level visits and the agreements reached, as well as the tangible successes in the development of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Armenia and the United States, which are the result of the implementation of the three memorandums signed in Washington just a year ago, on August 8.
Among a number of initiatives, the actively developing cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence and the launch of a data processing center (AB Factory) within the framework of the first stage of the Firebird AI megaproject were discussed.
Ararat Mirzoyan and Aryeh Lightstone also discussed opportunities and cooperation programs in the sphere of trade, the economy, and the strengthening of Armenia's economic and energy resilience.
Issues of the development of regional connectivity and the realization of existing competitive advantages along this path were also discussed. The work on implementing the TRIPP program was reviewed. Both sides emphasized their interest in the earliest possible implementation of the program on the ground. They exchanged views on the prospects for the most effective integration of Armenia into the international transport and infrastructure system.
