Pashinyan again accuses the CSTO and Russia

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has once again accused the CSTO and Russia of failing to fulfill their security obligations.

At a briefing on August 27, Pashinyan was asked about the reason for and the consequences of the change in the wording describing relations between Armenia and Russia in the Armenian government's program for 2026-31 — the word "strategic" is absent, Armenian media report.

Answering the question, Pashinyan stated that "after all the recent events, you will ask why the CSTO and Russia did not fulfill their security obligations. What am I supposed to answer?"
