In Georgia, a man tried to sell uranium
The State Security Service of Georgia detained a citizen of the country on suspicion of attempting to sell a radioactive substance — uranium — to a foreigner.
According to the investigation, the detainee planned to sell the uranium-238 in his possession to a foreign citizen for $700,000.
The man faces up to 10 years in prison.
