Ilham Aliyev approves visa-free agreement with Jordan

President Ilham Aliyev has approved the intergovernmental agreement with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on the mutual abolition of visas for holders of ordinary civil passports.

The law was adopted by the country's parliament (the Milli Majlis). The document exempting citizens of the two countries from visa requirements was signed on July 8, 2026, in Baku.
