Trump invites Mirziyoev to G20 summit in Miami
US President Donald Trump has invited his Uzbek counterpart Shavkat Mirziyoev to the next meeting of the Peace Council and the G20 summit in Miami.
This was announced by the press secretary of the President of Uzbekistan, Sherzod Asadov.
According to him, in his message, the American leader highly appreciated Mirziyoev's participation in the inaugural meeting of the Peace Council in February of this year. Trump believes that the President of Uzbekistan is achieving impressive results and expressed gratitude for the invitation to visit the republic.
"President Donald Trump, in turn, invited the head of our state to the next meeting of the Peace Council, as well as to the G20 summit in Miami," the statement reads.
