Graparak: Purges begin in Armenia's security structures
In recent weeks, a pre-election "purge" has begun in the systems of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Defense.
This was reported by Graparak, citing its sources within the security structures.
"Those who have even a distant kinship or connection with opposition circles are being dismissed from their jobs with the explanation: 'we no longer consider joint work expedient,' and later, through intermediaries ('through connections'), they are informed that they were removed specifically due to their ties with the opposition.
At the same time, the irony is that some people were dismissed, for instance, because of a single opposition-affiliated relative, with whom the employee last met, for example, 3-4 years ago," the publication notes.
