UAE bans citizens from traveling to Iran, Iraq, and Lebanon
The United Arab Emirates has banned its citizens from traveling to Iran, Iraq, and Lebanon.
A corresponding statement has been published on the official website of the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"Amid recent events in the region, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs announces that citizens of our country are henceforth prohibited from all travel to Iran, Iraq, and Lebanon. All UAE citizens currently in these countries are urged to return home as soon as possible," the press release from the foreign ministry states.
The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs did not provide reasons for this decision.
