Shot fired at Mevlut Cavusoglu's brother - PHOTO
The younger brother of former Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, businessman Aydin Cavusoglu, sustained a severe gunshot wound in his office.
He has been placed in intensive care, and his condition remains critical.
The incident occurred in the Alanya district of Antalya province.
In the evening, a shot was fired at the office located at a gas station owned by Cavusoglu. Emergency services and police promptly arrived at the scene.
The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition and underwent emergency surgery. After the operation, he was transferred to the intensive care unit. According to the latest information, his condition remains critical.
Antalya Governor Hulusi Sahin visited the victim in the hospital and received updates on his condition.
Mevlut Cavusoglu was abroad at the time of the incident. He has been informed of the situation and is expected to return to Turkey soon.
