Opening of the border with Turkey will have only a positive impact on Armenia - Pashinyan
Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan has no information about Turkey opening its border with Armenia in the coming days, but stresses that he would be very glad if it did.
"I have no direct information, but if it turns out to be the case, I will be very happy. I have also noticed that some opposition circles are spreading an atmosphere of fear about the opening of the borders. What they say implies that Turkey and Azerbaijan have done us another favor by closing the border. Meanwhile, for 30 years Armenia has been complaining on international platforms that Turkey and Azerbaijan are blocking it. Frankly, I have no information about the border opening. We want it to happen, and it would be very good if it happened, and it would happen logically. When it does, I will welcome it," the prime minister said, emphasizing that it would have only a positive impact on Armenia.
