Cuban president calls new US sanctions criminal
Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel called the US decree on sanctions against countries and companies for fuel supplies to Havana criminal and immoral.
He made this statement on his Telegram channel.
According to Diaz-Canel, the American blockade is extraterritorial and provides for sanctions against companies that want to invest in Cuba or supply the country with basic goods, including food, medicines, and hygiene products.
“The collective punishment to which the Cuban people are subjected is an act of genocide that must be condemned by international organizations, and its initiators must be held accountable,” he stressed.
