Armenia and Lithuania signed a strategic partnership agreement

Armenia and Lithuania signed a strategic partnership agreement.

This was stated by Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan during a joint press conference with his Lithuanian colleague Kęstutis Budrys in Yerevan.

According to him, Budrys's visit took place during a symbolic period — the year marking 35 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations.

"It is at this time, with the experience of previous cooperation, that we were able to sign a document that raised the level of our interaction. From this moment, Armenia and Lithuania are strategic partners," Mirzoyan said.

According to him, this format will allow for a more comprehensive approach to sectoral cooperation.

The sides discussed cooperation in the economic sphere, including in the areas of information technology, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity.

It was noted that Armenia had previously signed declarations on strategic partnership with France and Bulgaria.
