Iran prepares response to US comments on text of possible agreement

Iran is preparing a response to US comments on the text of a possible agreement to resolve the conflict, Iranian news agency ISNA reported.

"Iran is preparing a response to the text sent by the US. The Iranian text ... focuses on framework general provisions, details, as well as steps to build trust as guarantees (of compliance with the possible agreement - ed.)", the report said.

The agency notes that the visit of Pakistani army commander Asim Munir to Tehran on Thursday is intended to reduce the gap in positions in order to prepare the ground for the adoption of a memorandum between the US and Iran.

At the same time, ISNA reported, overcoming disagreements requires Washington to abandon military aspirations.
