Trump reports decision to send additional 5,000 troops to Poland

U.S. President Donald Trump has decided to send an additional 5,000 troops to Poland.

The head of the American state wrote about this on his social network Truth Social.

According to Trump, the decision was made in light of his good relations with Polish President Karol Nawrocki.

“Given my excellent relations with Polish President Karol Nawrocki, I am pleased to announce that the United States will send an additional 5,000 troops to Poland,” Trump wrote.

Earlier, the American leader stated his intention to reduce the number of U.S. troops in Poland and Germany.

In turn, U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance stated several days earlier that the United States would not reduce the number of American troops in Poland but would only postpone the redeployment. “We are not talking about withdrawing all American soldiers from Europe. We are talking about redistributing some resources in such a way as to maximize America’s security,” he said.
