Pashinyan: We should not allow others to use Armenia against others
We should not allow others to use us against others.
This was stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who is currently on vacation but leads the proportional list of candidates for the ruling Civil Contract party, during a campaign event in Hrazdan, the administrative center of Kotayk Province, on May 26.
According to him, when speaking about the millennium, Armenia should look forward while drawing lessons from the past millennium. "The main lesson of the past is that as soon as we allow others to use us against others, in the end we are cast aside and left defenseless," Pashinyan noted.
He added that Armenia should use its strength only to protect its own security, state, prosperity, and freedom.
At the same time, he expressed disagreement with the opposition's view on the need for guarantors of peace, as this, in his assessment, means handing the country's fate over to others. "We have barely taken our fate into our own hands, and we cannot let go of this steering wheel," Nikol Pashinyan emphasized.
