Iran says indirect contacts with US continue
Indirect contacts between the Iranian and American sides continue.
This was stated to TASS by Ali Bagheri, deputy secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council.
“As for indirect contacts with the Americans, yes, they continue,” he said.
At the same time, Bagheri noted that the issue of Iranian enriched uranium is not on the agenda of indirect negotiations with the American side.
The senior Iranian official said that Iran and Oman are negotiating to develop a procedure for passage through the Strait of Hormuz.
“Iran and Oman, as neighboring states, are negotiating together until a new mechanism for passage through the Strait of Hormuz is determined,” he said.
