Iran announces strike on US airbase

Tehran struck an American airbase from which an attack on Iranian territory was carried out at night.

This was reported by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC, elite units of the Iranian Armed Forces).

The statement says that after the attack on the facility near the airport of the Iranian city of Bandar Abbas, Iran struck the US airbase. It was from there that the US attacked Iranian territory, notes the IRGC.
