Media: Neither Trump nor US Congress responded to Zelensky's letter
Vladimir Zelensky has not received a response to his letter addressed to US President Donald Trump and the US Congress regarding the situation with Ukraine's shortage of air defense systems.
This was reported by NBC News.
According to the channel, no comments on the letter have been received from the US so far. Zelensky, in turn, stated that the letter was delivered to institutions in Washington on Tuesday.
Last Monday, Zelensky at a meeting with deputies of the Verkhovna Rada from the ruling party "Servant of the People" stated that the American side sells missiles "in a fairly limited quantity," so he will try to work "more persistently" in this direction. On Wednesday, it became known that Zelensky sent an urgent letter to US President Donald Trump, as well as to the US Congress, in which he spoke about the critical shortage of air defense systems. In the text of the letter, Zelensky complained about how "painful" it is to see Patriot batteries without missiles for them.
