Yerevan has not yet reacted to Moscow's decision to restrict the import of Armenian tomatoes - Peskov

No reaction from Yerevan to Moscow's decision to restrict the import of tomatoes from Armenia has been received yet.

This was stated by Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov.

"No, it has not come," Peskov told journalists, answering the corresponding question.

On Thursday, Rosselkhoznadzor reported that from May 30 it is restricting the import of fruit and vegetable products from Armenia. From May 22, the agency temporarily restricted the import of flowers from Armenia.

On May 15, it became known that Rosselkhoznadzor intends to conduct inspections of a number of Armenian enterprises, including companies whose product supplies were previously suspended to Russia. The reason was suspicions of the import of falsified fish products, presumably of European origin.

On May 21, the Armenian side reported that the Russian delegation had begun inspection checks of enterprises.
