Armenia's CEC receives recount requests from 555 polling stations

Armenia's Central Election Commission has received applications from proxies and candidates of the opposition parties Prosperous Armenia and Wings of Unity, as well as the Armenia bloc, for a recount of results from 555 polling stations, the CEC press service reports.

Applications have been received for a recount of the voting results for a total of 555 precinct election commissions. At their meetings convened at 12:00, the territorial election commissions (TECs) will summarize the received applications, and information will be published on the CEC website about which polling stations' voting results will be recounted exactly. <...> No applications for recognizing the voting results at a polling station as invalid have been received by the TECs, the statement says.
