EU imposes additional sanctions against Russia
The EU Council has imposed additional sanctions against Russia by adding 80 individuals and organizations from Russia and CIS countries to three blacklists.
This is stated in a series of EU Council decisions published in the Official Journal of the EU.
These sanctions were introduced in addition to the main economic packages since the EU has not yet agreed on the 21st sanctions package. All those listed are banned from entering the EU, and their assets in the bloc's countries must be frozen. European organizations are prohibited from any contacts with legal entities included in the lists.
