The war of the US and Israel against Iran is not yet over, despite the signing of a memorandum by the American and Iranian presidents.
French President Emmanuel Macron stated this on the air of the France 2 channel.
"I do not think that it can be said that this conflict has been finally resolved," he said, responding to a journalist's request to assess the preliminary results of the Iranian conflict.
He welcomed the signing by the presidents of the US and Iran of a memorandum on settlement, which, according to him, was agreed upon "spontaneously," and this happened "in the last hours of the Group of Seven summit" (G7). "This agreement means a ceasefire that also affects Lebanon, the restoration of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz," Macron noted. "After 60 days, we will have to determine what steps to take regarding the nuclear program and ballistic missiles, and whether Iran has indeed become less dangerous than before."
