Jeyhun Bayramov and Bakhtiyor Saidov discuss strategic partnership between Baku and Tashkent

Foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan Jeyhun Bayramov and Bakhtiyor Saidov held a telephone conversation and discussed the development of strategic partnership between the two countries.

The head of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry reported this on social media.

"I held a telephone conversation with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov. We discussed the current state and prospects for further development of strategic partnership and alliance relations between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, and exchanged views on the schedule of upcoming events at various levels," Saidov said.

It is noted that special attention was paid to issues of further deepening cooperation in trade-economic, investment, transport-logistics, energy and other areas of mutual interest.

"During the conversation, other issues of the bilateral and multilateral agenda of mutual interest were also considered," the head of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry added.
