Rubio: US wants to make a deal with Iran, but not at any cost

The United States is determined to conclude a deal with Iran, but will not do so at any cost.

This was stated by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

"Although we want to conclude a deal, we do not want it to be a deal at any cost. We want a good, real, verified deal, a deal that is observed. And it is important that any agreements reached during the negotiation process or after it are observed," he said at a meeting with foreign ministers of the Persian Gulf countries in Bahrain.
