Allahshukur Pashazade to participate in I International Islamic Forum

Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Board (CMB) Sheikh ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade will depart for a visit to Uzbekistan on July 6 to participate in the I International Islamic Forum.

According to the CMB, the forum on the theme "Islamic civilization: the path of peace, tolerance, and enlightenment" will be held July 7-11 in Tashkent and Samarkand.

The visit is taking place at the invitation of ISESCO Director General Salim bin Mohammed al-Malik and Director of the Center for Islamic Civilization of Uzbekistan Firdavs Abdukhalikov.

The visit program includes the opening of the memorial complex of Imam al-Bukhari in Samarkand, visits to the international research centers named after Imam al-Bukhari, Imam at-Tirmidhi, and Imam al-Maturidi, as well as three international conferences dedicated to their spiritual and scientific heritage.

The forum is intended to become a new humanitarian platform for strengthening the culture of peace, intercivilizational dialogue, and international humanitarian cooperation.
