US states completion of another wave of strikes on Iran, IRGC - on strikes on American bases in Bahrain and Kuwait
US military completed another series of strikes on Iran, with 90 targets attacked. This was reported by the US Armed Forces Central Command (CENTCOM).
"CENTCOM forces completed an additional round of strikes on Iran, aimed at further weakening Iran's ability to attack commercial vessels and innocent civilian sailors in the Strait of Hormuz. US forces struck approximately 90 Iranian military targets," the CENTCOM post on X said.
Among the targets attacked, the command listed air defense systems, coastal surveillance systems, missile and drone storage sites, and military logistics infrastructure facilities.
The day before, US forces attacked 80 targets on the territory of the Islamic Republic.
At the same time, the naval and aerospace forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) struck American military bases in Bahrain and Kuwait. This is stated in an IRGC statement cited by Iran's state radio and television company.
"Fighters of the IRGC naval and aerospace forces, during a joint missile and drone operation shortly after enemy attacks on various points of the country, destroyed key facilities and infrastructure of two American bases, Ali Al-Salem and Arifjan in Kuwait, as well as Al-Jufair and Sheikh Isa in Bahrain," the statement said.
The IRGC warned that in case of repeated American attacks, Tehran would expand retaliatory measures, which would also target other US military bases in the Middle East.
