Another internal subbotnik held in the capital

Thanks to the successful policy of the head of state Ilham Aliyev, the growing attention and care for our capital, today Baku is developing and becoming more beautiful day by day.

This is particularly noted both by city residents and by numerous foreign guests of the capital. They also emphasize the cleanliness of the city. Flowers planted in parks, along streets and avenues, and the beautiful compositions created delight the eye and give Baku a special beauty.

With the aim of preserving and developing this cleanliness and beauty, the Executive Authority of Baku city regularly conducts internal subbotniks for cleaning in the capital. With the aim of further raising the sanitary-ecological level of the city, another internal subbotnik was held on July 11.

During the subbotnik, in addition to avenues and streets in the city center, streets in the capital's settlements were washed and thoroughly cleaned. From the morning hours, equipment from the communal services of the Executive Authority of Baku city washed the streets using detergents harmless to plants and living organisms.

Washing of sidewalk edges, curbs, lampposts, railings, and benches in parks and recreation areas was also carried out, and cleaning work was performed in courtyards and residential quarters. Display windows of public catering, trade, and other departmental facilities located along the roads were cleaned, and order was restored in the adjacent territories.

Employees of the Baku City Greenery Association also cleaned trees and green plantings along roads and avenues from dust and dirt throughout the day, provided them with agrotechnical care, and pruned damaged branches. At the same time, multicolored flowers were planted and compositions were created from them.

In general, the large-scale cleaning work that covered all districts of the capital contributed to the further improvement of the sanitary condition of Baku city.
