U.S. vice president has fourth child

Vice President of the U.S. J.D. Vance announced the birth of a fourth child in the family.

The mother and child are doing well, the father wrote on social network X.

The child was named Alec Neil Vance. The older children have already met their brother, Mr. Vance said.

The American vice president thanked the staff of the Walter Reed military hospital and the White House medical service for helping his wife during childbirth.

Besides Alec Neil, in the family of J.D. Vance and his wife, an American of Indian origin Usha Chilukuri, there are three children — sons Evan and Vivek, born in 2017 and 2020, and daughter Mirabel, born in 2021.
