Ghalibaf: In the region where Iran will not sell oil, no one will sell it

Iran will not allow anyone in the region to sell oil if Tehran itself does not have that capability.

Speaker of the Majlis (the unicameral parliament) of the Islamic Republic Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf stated this, TASS reports.

"In the region where we will not sell oil, no one will sell oil. If our security is not ensured, no infrastructure facility will remain safe, and the security of the strait is possible only in the absence of American forces," he wrote on his page on X. Ghalibaf emphasized that the equation of this conflict has been reduced to the rule: "either everyone or no one!"

Another escalation of the American-Iranian conflict began on July 8. The US Armed Forces, for the first time since the signing of the memorandum between Washington and Tehran, carried out several series of strikes on the territory of the Islamic Republic, allegedly in response to an attack on a merchant ship in the Strait of Hormuz. On the same day, US President Donald Trump announced the termination of the truce with Iran. As part of the retaliatory actions, Tehran began striking US facilities in the Middle East located in the territories of Bahrain, Jordan, Qatar, Kuwait, the UAE, and Oman.
