Drone attack on Wildberries warehouse in Russia: A major fire broke out
On the night of August 5, a large-scale fire broke out at a Wildberries logistics center in the Russian city of Aleksin (Tula region) as a result of a drone attack.
Tula region Governor Dmitry Milyaev reported that "a UAV fell on the territory of the Wildberries sorting center, which subsequently caught fire."
According to the governor, one person was injured. Two apartment buildings in the Venevsky district and two industrial facilities in Novomoskovsk and the Uzlovsky district were also damaged.
The company's press service also confirmed the fire at the logistics facility. It stated that employees had been evacuated in a timely manner and that the acceptance of new deliveries had been temporarily restricted. They were redirected to other centers.
